Qatar, Cameroon camp mooted for Zebras

As the Zebras step up preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals next January, the Botswana Football Association (BFA) has lined up possible training camps in Qatar and Cameroon.

The BFA has moved into top gear, quashing any doubts about the association's commitment to the team's preparations. Last month, the team's preparations were jolted following national team coach, Stan Tshosane's claims that the BFA executive had offered little support. Stung by the criticism, the BFA has responded by organising a friendly match against Nigeria this Saturday and another unnamed West African country next week Wednesday.

BFA president, David Fani said the team might camp in Qatar and Cameroon ahead of the finals, which Equatorial Guinea and Gabon will co-host next January.
