Puma Energy succeeds BP as golf sponsor

Pula Energy has taken over the operations of BP. Puma general manager, Mahube Mpugwa said they will continue sponsoring the three tournaments backed by BP Botswana. He did not reveal the sponsorship amount saying that they are finalising the figure with the Botswana Golf Union (BGU). BP forked out P60, 000 to sponsor open tournaments in Selebi-Phikwe, Orapa and Jwaneng under its Castrol brand.

"We are definitely going to continue sponsoring the three tournaments. We are still finalising the sponsorship details with BGU," Mpugwa said.
