Professional boxers to fight in Namibia

Buoyed by last month’s victories in professional boxing, Tefo Letshigwane and Moabi Mothiba are billed to fight in Namibia at the end of the month.

The Namibian trip is a direct result of the Bond Promotions professional tournament in Gaborone last month. After sending one boxer Verde Ndayambewa for the Bond Promotions tournament, the Namibians have returned the favour by inviting local boxers for a tourney pencilled for November 30.

Bond Ngubula of Bond Promotions said last month’s tournament was the beginning of a new chapter in professional boxing in the country.
