Prisons XI left the SSG Ground with three points after hammering Mogoditshane Fighters 2-0 in a Debswana First Division South League match played on Saturday. The match was delayed for 30 minutes due to high temperatures.

The game started with the Warders showing an early intention to walk away with maximum points. In the 12th minute, Fighters’ goalkeeper Bothe Moralo failed to deal with Boka Oagile’s free-kick but unfortunately, Prisons players failed to utilise the chance. Fighters survived another scare again in the 18th minute when Daniel Mogapi shot narrowly wide. On the other end, Fighters’ strikers were thwarted by the offside trap.

Moralo dealt with Taelo Nthomiwa’s header in the 22nd minute, but he could do little to stop a well-taken set piece by Oagile’s seven minutes later.
