Prisons XI fate lies in Tlokweng

After failing to return to the Premier League through automatic promotion, Prisons XI have now set their sights of making it through the play-offs. However, the club might not even qualify for the play-offs because the matter will be determined by the top contenders for automatic promotion, Naughty Boys and Killer Giants this weekend.

The two rivals meet tomorrow and the result will determine whether Prisons XI tries its luck in the play-offs or remains irretrievably rooted in First Division soccer for the time being.

Prisons XI have 33 points from 20 outings with two games to go. They need to win the two matches and hope that either Naughty Boys or Killer Giants lose in Tlokweng tomorrow. Despite falling behind in the race for promotion, the Warders have a superior goal difference than both Killer Giants and Naughty Boys. Defeat for one of the two sides tomorrow will give Prisons XI a lifeline to go for it in their remaining two games.
