MOGODITSHANE: Prisons women won their third game of the Mascom Volleyball League when they beat Spiking Stars 3-2 in a boring encounter on Saturday.

Prisons won the first set 25-22 with Spiking Stars claiming the second and third sets 25-23 and 25-21 respectively.

The game was taken to a deciding set after the two were locked at 2-2 in a match that took about two hours. The two teams did not give spectators value for their money as players lacked even the basics of the game. Besides lacking skills the two teams' players also showed lack of commitment as some of them even laughed after missing balls. Watching the match it was clear that coaches will need to do more to jack up standards. Though the teams consisted mostly of youthful players they did not show the energy expected from such youngsters.
