Premier League teams want TV grants monthly

FRANCISTOWN: Some Botswana Premier League (BPL) clubs want grants from broadcasting rights paid monthly instead of quarterly.

Clubs pocketed P90,000 each this week after the release of the second batch of the television rights funds.

Nico United chairman, Mothusi Taolo said though the money always helps them, they would really appreciate if it is paid every month.  “This would help us in managing our monthly cash flow. We however, acknowledge this money helps us a lot, especially for away games because they are quite expensive,” he said.
