The Botswana Premier League (BPL) chief executive officer, Bennet Mamelodi, has sought audience with new Polokwane City signing Galabgwe Moyana in an effort to hammer out a solution for his contractual mayhem.

The national team winger, Moyana, penned three deals within a week and a fierce wrangle between local giants Township Rollers and Mochudi Centre Chiefs is ensuing.Rollers tied the talented player to a two-year-deal, with Chiefs also 'extending' his deal before selling him to newly-promoted South African Premiership side City on Friday last week.Mamelodi confirmed that he had the two contracts from the two local football giants. He said after speaking to the player and further investigating on the matter, BPL will be in a position to know which structure to revert to."We are sitting with two contracts, an extension with Chiefs and a new contract with Rollers. I've sought audience with the player over the issue, I'm not an expert to determine who he belongs to, but I will speak to him to see if there has been an element of misconduct. That way we will be able to know where to refer the matter - maybe the Disciplinary Committee or the Player Status Committee," Mamelodi told Mmegi Sport. While the potentially explosive wrangle is brewing, unofficial reports are that the player has since written to Rollers reneging on the deal he signed.

Rollers have been mum on the issue, with managing director, Gobuiwang Sommerset, repeatedly saying he is unable to comment because he is tied up in meetings. On the other hand, Chiefs have confirmed Moyana has been loaned out to City with the likelihood of him being sold outright in January.   "He signed a loan deal with Polokwane City on the basis that they will buy him outright in January. It is a good move for him because he has always had ambitions to play outside the country," Mogomotsi said. beMOBILE two-time green boot award winner, Kekaetswe 'Mara' Moloi, according to Mogomotsi, also signed a contract with City. However, when contacted for comment, City's administrator, Floyd Mbele would not commit to validating that.
