Policemen next on Rollers' menu

Thousands of expectant Township Rollers' supporters are expected to pack the UB Stadium tonight when the club seeks to strengthen its bid for the title in a crucial game against a stubborn Police XI.

Rollers' performance was not convincing against BMC last Friday and coach Rahman Gumbo must have worked on correcting the weaknesses ahead of the meeting with the law enforcers. Last season, Rollers could only manage a point from the Jungle Kings and that must be worrying the supporters. But the in-form captain Thapelo 'Pepe' Balepi, Terrence Mandaza, Edwin Olerile and youngster Simisane Mathumo is likely to haunt Police XI.

Coach Barry Daka of Police XI, will once again rely on captain Richard Mwanza, Tebogo Sebina and Jackie Mothatego to unlock the Rollers' defence which has been impressive this season. The presence of Canny Gaontebale will prove vital in defence as he has been one of the consistent performers for the Jungle Kings.
