Police XI to pay former player

The Malawian took Police XI to court last year after the club ended his contract following the injury. After more than five months, a magistrate has ruled in his favour and instructed the club to pay him.
"I am happy that this whole thing is over because it was really stressing me. I had no problem with the club ending my contract because they paid for the three months' notice, but I wanted them to compensate me because I got injured playing for them," he said.
