Former national champions, Police XI meet Uniao Flamengo Santos tonight in a Mascom Premier League clash at UB Stadium.

In the first round match between the two sides, Santos blanked Police XI 3-0 and tonight's duel is a grudge match. Police XI assistant coach, Billy Mabopiwa told Mmegi Sport yesterday that they will not repeat the same mistakes that resulted in the first round humiliation. Police XI have been boosted by the return of experienced Zebras' defender, Ndiyapo Letsholathebe who is studying in the USA. His absence has been notable as the club has been conceding easy goals and his return tonight might give Santos' strikers a difficult time. Mabopiwa said that Santos is a good side with players who can  change a game at will. "However, after a good first round, they now look tired but they have a new coach (Oris Radipotsane) and that can be a boost to them," he added. He said Police XI want to move up the log and finish in a respectable position.

He said if things go according to plan, they want to win all the remaining games. Besides Santos, Police are still to play Township Rollers, Nico United and new champions, Mochudi Centre Chiefs.
