Plenty boots but no joy at BMC

BMC is one of those Premier League teams with the biggest squads. They have over 25 first team players to choose from every weekend. The squad became bulgy after the team was nearly relegated last season. One of the factors attributed to the poor display was lack of depth in the team. Management went out searching for players to ensure that if one of the regulars was injured, there would be another waiting to take over.

While this might have been a wise move on the part of management, it seems to have created headaches for the technical team. Their recruitment spree continued during the January transfer window when they lured former TAFIC hotshots, Nicholas Gora to Ezinkomo's kraal, among others. Gora had a dream start scoring against Nico United in the 4-0 drubbing of the Selebi-Phikwe side two weeks ago but against Rollers he appeared out of sorts.Head coach, Godfrey Tamirepi, has been changing the team every week as he tries to give everybody a chance. This has affected the rhythm in the squad and at times compromised the team's form.  Players like Phemelo 'Bunene' Ditsile, who did not get much game time last season due to injury, were expected to reclaim their place in the team this season but that has not happened. Ditsile has been used sparingly and he is still struggling for fitness.
