The Premier League Committee (PLC) is scheduled to meet this weekend to chart the way forward after the temporary closure of the University of Botswana (UB) and Sir Seretse Khama Barracks (SSKB) stadia over the weekend.

The UB and SSKB facilities have been the only venues available for soccer matches in Gaborone after the closure of Police College stadium and the National Stadium for renovation. The closures now mean that the southern part of the country is left with two stadiums - Lobatse and Molepolole.

A club like Extension Gunners which has moved its home-ground from Lobatse to the UB stadium must return to base after the closures. The secretary of PLC, Setete Phuthego said they will make do with what is available.  He said the league committee will brief clubs after this weekend's meeting.
