The Premier League Committee (PLC) was involved in a meeting with other stakeholders yesterday in a bid to find an amicable solution to the looming fixtures disruption due to the Zebras' participation in the COSAFA Senior Challenge Cup, which kicks-off in Zimbabwe on October 17.

It was not clear who attended the meeting as PLC acting general manager, Setete Phuthego was unavailable at press time. But sources said the meeting was called to map the way forward as the league faces disruptions during the duration of the COSAFA Cup tournament.

The Zebras leave on October 16 for Zimbabwe and depending on their performance, the team might be away for two weeks. This means that clubs with more than two players in the national team have the right to have their league games postponed. The be MOBILE Premier League programme has already been setback by the international friendly between the Zebras and China and clubs are not happy about the state of affairs. While most clubs have played three games, Mochudi Centre Chiefs have played only one.
