South African giants Orlando Pirates look set to swoop on the much sought after Township Rollers' striker, Terrence Mandaza, although fellow ABSA Premier League side, Maritzburg United have already opened negotiations with the Botswana champions.

Mandaza, scorer of 40 goals in all competitions this season, is in demand in South Africa with two other clubs, Bloemfontein Celtic and AmaZulu being interested in his services.

Maritzburg sent their coach Ernst Middendorp to watch Mandaza bag a brace on Saturday as Rollers beat Mochudi Centre Chiefs 3-1 to lift the Coca-Cola Cup. Pirates' administrative manager Floyd Mbele was also at the UB Stadium on Saturday but denies that his visit had anything to do with his club's interest in Mandaza.
