Phikwe tennis club facilities dilapidated

SELEBI-PHIKWE: It is known for producing some of Botswana's finest tennis Players, but the Phikwe Tennis Club facilities are in a poor state of disrepair.

The clubhouse windows are broken while the ceiling board, nets and the fence are torn.Club coach, Wellington Sibanda confirmed to Mmegi Sport that the clubhouse is in a bad sate and that in May there was a burglary and thieves got away with players' shoes.

He said that the windows, changing rooms and office facilities should be repaired because they are in constant use.  He explained that the club needs financial assistance for its daily operations because he is literally running it from his pocket.
