PASSOBO verdict ready soon - BNOC

A case in which Paralympics Association of Botswana (PASSOBO) is accused of obtaining by false pretences from the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) is expected to be complete by the end of the month.

The BNOC disciplinary committee is reported to have sufficient evidence. BNOC chief executive officer (CEO) Tuelo Serufho said after completing its job the disciplinary committee would determine the action to be taken against PASSOBO."

I want to assure the nation that the issue is not dead and that they will know about its findings once it is complete," Serufho said. He    said  sports matters should not be taken to court, which is why they have disciplinary processes and structures. PASSOBO is accused of defrauding BNOC after it claimed one of its athletes won a gold medal at the last All Africa Games held in Maputo, Mozambique.
