Paralympic Association of Botswana (PASSOBO) faces a mammoth task of securing sponsorship for the 2014 edition of the paralympic games scheduled for December.

With only a month remaining, PASSOBO is battling to secure funding for the competition meant for physically challenged athletes. PASSOBO secretary general, Titus Kebuileng told Mmegi Sport yesterday they wonder why it is difficult for them to secure sponsorship.

He said they have approached several companies seeking financial assistance with no success. They have submitted a proposal to a certain commercial bank, which has since promised to invite PASSOBO for a meeting to discuss the matter.
