FRANCISTOWN: Orapa United have named Patrick Motsepe as new administrative head. Motsepe’s football career was cut short after he was diagnosed with a heart condition.

Although at the time of his retirement he said he would have loved to continue playing for a while longer, the former midfield maestro said following the diagnosis, the doctor’s orders left him with no choice but to hang up his boots.

Since joining the Ostriches from BDF XI two seasons ago, Boy-Machesa, as Motsepe is affectionately known, has established himself as an integral part of the Ostriches.  Last season he guided the side to a historic Mascom Top 8 Cup.
