Orange Golf Classics Championship starts tomorrow

About 120 golfers are expected to tee-off in the annual Orange Classics Championship at the Phakalane Golf Estate from tomorrow to Sunday.

Botswana Golf Union (BGU) official, Martin Mogomela told Mmegi Sport that the men’s competition will be divided into three divisions. There will be championship division for handicaps seven and below; the A division for handicap eight to 15 and B division for handicap 16 to 24.

Mogomela said the women competition will be divided into two groups - the championship division for handicap 15 and less and the A division for handicap 16 to 30. The men’s championship is decided over 54 holes, while the women play 36 holes.
