Olympics attire design competition launched

Local designers will battle it out to dress Team Botswana at the London 2012 Olympics with the smartest gear, after the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) launched an attire design competition in Gaborone on Tuesday.

BNOC, in partnership with the British High Commission, this week invited local designers to submit designs for formal, traditional and sports attire for the country's participants at the London Games to kick off July next year.

The theme of the competition is 'The Spirit of Olympism' and the winner of the competition will pocket P10,000 in addition to dressing the team.
