Oathotse wins Botswana Chess Tournament

Providence Oathotse on Sunday walked away with P1000 cash after winning the Botswana Closed Chess tournament held at the University of Botswana.

The event was a fundraiser for the Botswana Chess federation towards the African youth event that would be held in Zambia next week.

P13,500 was raised from donations by players, while chess player and business man, Jona Chaka donated P5000 towards the prizes for the weekend event.
