Notwane youth to play in South Africa

Notwane youngsters have been included in the six-day South African Football Association (SAFA) Development tournament scheduled to start on Monday. The Toronto youth are the champions of the Botswana Under-17 national league.

Team coach, Chris Leswafe told  yesterday that the invitation to play in South Africa came after they won the youth league.

The Notwane side is in the same group with Inter Milan Youth Academy of Italy, Mumbai Academy of India and Gauteng Select of South Africa. Leswafe said that it is normal for academies to have a wide range of players to select from and therefore he expects the two teams from Italy and India to be very strong.
