Notwane seeks Salvation

Troubled Notwane intends to formulate a strategic plan to revive its fortunes, club officials said on Sunday.

A special general meeting held at the club house on Sunday unanimously agreed to draw the road to come into effect this season.  Notwane spokesperson, Andrew Mogatlane said it is essential to engage in a strategic planning process to improve the fortunes of the club. The plan will see every department at the club having defined roles, but working together towards overall success. The technical team will be tasked with the recruitment and retention of players and grooming the development side. The club will trim its squad to 25, with five players coming from the development side for easier manageability and as a cost-cutting measure. Mogatlane said they have found it necessary to have two assistants to the chairperson. One assistant will be responsible for technical matters while the other will focus on marketing and communications.

"There is need to adapt to changes in administration of clubs as we move forward, hence we decided upon these two new (chairperson) positions in the team," Mogatlane said.
