It never rains but pours for Notwane. Hours after a 7-1 massacre by homeside ECCO City Greens in Francistown, the team bus was involved in a road accident at Makoro on their way back.

No casualties were reported but some players were taken to Palapye Hospital after complaining about pains. They were discharged after medical examinations. Coach Kaizer Kobedi said the team's 25-seater mini bus hit a cow after the Makoro gate around 9 pm.

He said that although the players did not suffer injuries, most were in a state of shock.  The bus was severely damaged. Kobedi said such incidents could be avoided if the team had resources.
