Normalcy returns to basketball league

Recently elected Botswana Basketball Association (BBA) league committee chairman, William Nyangu, says he is happy with the way the second round of the league is running.

Nyangu, who assumed office in August, said that a lot of teams are showing commitment to the league as all of them have honoured their fixtures thus far, a sharp contrast from previous seasons where unfulfilled fixtures were the order of the day.

This league enters its fourth playing day this weekend.  Nyangu said teams' commitment has intensified competition in both the women's and men's leagues. He said in the men's section, the title race is open.
