No Mathata shifts focus to league title

SELEBI-PHIKWE: After their brilliant display in the Coca-Cola Cup games, First Division North outfit No Mathata is now shifting its focus to concentrate on the league games.

The Botshabelo based side is the only team in the copper mining town left in the tournament after Nico United and FC Satmos fell at the first hurdle. No Mathata travel to Maun to play Maun Tigers tomorrow. Coach, Mosimanegape Kanono said that they are keen to go far in the Coca-Cola Cup.

"When we play in the tournament, we have a full squad as players are motivated by the incentives from the sponsor," said Kanono. The team resumed its league campaign by beating Mahalapye Hotspurs 2-0 during a match that was played at the Selebi-Phikwe Stadium last weekend. No Mathata is third on the log and will be looking forward to getting full points against Tigers.
