Nkwe disappointed after final loss

Nkwe is still smarting from their 106-run defeat at the hands of Tshukudu in the National 50 Overs cricket final played in Gaborone on Sunday.

Team captain Aholaq Raja told Mmegi Sport that they went into the match against Tshukudu as favourites. Nkwe who finished first at the end of the group stages were looking for a repeat in the final but Tshukudu, who finished second in the round robin, had other ideas.

He said they did not lose the game because they were a weaker team but they failed to perform. He noted that a team that plays well wins on the day.
