Nkwe contemplates quitting

The Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) president, Gift Nkwe, has hinted at calling it a day when the association holds its annual general meeting (AGM) in May, unless stakeholders can convince him otherwise.

Nkwe believes that he has played his part and it is time to hand over to somebody else.

He however, said he was still consulting with stakeholders and that the outcome would determine whether he should stay on. He said it was his intention not to stay forever because karate has administrators capable of taking the sport to another level. Nkwe took over from Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) additional member, Ookeditse Malesu, in 2008.
