SELEBI-PHIKWE: Nico United have threatened to boycott a rescheduled fixture against Gaborone United (GU) this Saturday.

Majombolo say they have been unfairly treated by the Premier League Committee (PLC) in the decision to re-fixture the match.

The club threatens to move to the High Court for an order to have the fixture cancelled. It has written to the PLC secretary Setete Phuthego to protest the decision to make the play against GU this Saturday. The club spokesman, Eitlhomilwe Raditshego said the PLC should not have rescheduled the game before getting to the bottom of circumstances leading to its initial cancellation. "We are convinced that investigations should have been carried out to determine the genuineness of the grounds advanced by GU to have failed to honour the fixture," Raditshego said. The initial game in December was cancelled by the PLC because the then troubled GU could not raise a team. Raditshego said it was unfortunate that as an interested party, Nico was not kept abreast of developments.
