Nico hunt for elusive victory

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Relegation candidates, Nico United seek to halt a five game losing streak when they host unpredictable Mogoditshane Fighters in a be MOBILE Premier League match tomorrow.

Majombolo have only won once this season after a good start in which the team picked up four points in the first two games. The Selebi-Phikwe side has slumped to 15th position on the log following five successive defeats. Their only victory came against Boteti Young Fighters while they managed to gain a point away to TAFIC.  Extension Gunners sparked the slump at Nico when they ran away with a 1-0 victory in Lobatse.

This was followed by a 5-3 rout by ECCO and a 6-1 humiliation by title chasers, Gaborone United.  Majombolo suffered further misery in 2-1 and 3-1 defeats at the hands of Township Rollers and Premier League debutants, GNT respectively. Last weekend, the Nico game against Police XI in Molepolole was called off 30 minutes after kick-off following floodlights failure.
