SELEBI-PHIKWE: Nico United have reportedly sent a number of senior players packing due to indiscipline.

The sacked players include former international, Eric Molebatsi though Nico chairman, Kitso 'Jomo' Nkoborwane professed ignorance of the development. The players received their dismissal letters last week. The letter to Molebatsi dated August 20 says that he has been dismissed with immediate effect for boycotting training, unreliable services and insubordination.

The letter states that Molebatsi failed to successfully defend himself at an August 13 hearing hence the club resolved to part ways with him. "You are therefore expected to return all the club equipment and vacate the club house within seven working days within which you will receive your terminal benefits," the letter says.
