Nico United started the second leg of the be MOBILE Premier League on a high on Saturday, easily pocketing three points against Mogoditshane Fighters in a  poorly attended encounter at the Selebi Phikwe stadium. Fighters were the first to draw blood through Oteng Mongala on the 20th minute. The pint-sized player squeezed the ball through Nico players who were all over the box.  Prior to the goal, Richard Mwanza, who joined Fighters from Police XI during the January transfer window, nearly broke the hearts of Nico followers with a header just four minutes into the game that was easily dealt with by Kaelo Joseph.  Just two minutes after Fighters' celebrations, Bernard Semakwenzi answered for the home side.

On the 33rd minute, Nico's Master Masitara launched a strike that went narrowly wide.  The Zimbabwean was also unlucky a few minutes later on a one on one with the goalkeeper. The first half ended without any sparks with both sides not giving their best.Nico came back from the break a changed side, launching attack after attack. It did not take long for Semakwenzi to score a brace on the 53rd minute through a powerful shot from outside the box. On the 58th minute, lady luck shone on Fighters as Nico players, Masitara and Lawrence Malope hit the cross bar on two occasions. Majombolo defender, Monametsi Kelebale was also having a good game clearing all the deadly attacks with ease. Thabiso Lekesi who came on as a substitute  scored the third goal for the Majombolo.. Nico coach, Elijah Chikwanda said he was impressed by the way his side played considering that it was their first game of the second round. He said that he was not expecting much from the game.
