Ngwigwa steps up preparations

United States-based sprinter, Obakeng Ngwigwa, has stepped up his preparations for the All-Africa Games and the World Championships later this year.

With the help of the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC), the runner has organised to compete in races for the next six weekends starting tomorrow.  His biggest race will be the Florida relays in a fortnight.

He intends to use the races to build up his confidence ahead of the World Championships and All-Africa Games later this year. "I'm quite excited about these races and I believe they will help me build my confidence because I have races until April 28," he said.
