Ngele on target as stars rout leopards

Zebras midfield stalwart, Mogakolodi 'Tsotso' Ngele scored a goal to help his side, Platinum Stars beat Black Leopards 4-0 in an ABSA Premiership clash at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Ngele beautifully curled in a low free kick deep inside first half injury time to extend Stars's lead to two goals after Sibusiso Msomi had opened the score. Siphelele Mthembu and Patrick Malokase added to more goals after the break to make sure Stars continue challenging for the championship. Ngele's goal on Saturday took his season tally to seven; three goals shy of leading goal scorer, Bernard Parker of log leaders, Kaizer Chiefs with six games left.

Stars are now second in the log with 45 points, seven behind Chiefs who have played an extra game. Ngele's stature in the ABSA Premiership has been growing ever since he was transferred from Township Rollers at the start of the season. He has scored important goals and made several assists in Stars' quest for their first title.
