Zebras' new players gave a brilliant performance when the national team played to a 0-0 draw with New Zealand at the University of Botswana Stadium on Saturday.

Phenyo Mongala, Ofentse Nato, Mokgathi Mokgathi and Musa Ohilwe all proved that they are ready for the bigger stage.  Mongala, Nato and Ohilwe have been doing well for the junior teams with Mongala and Ohilwe starring for the national Under-23 while Nato has been part of the Under-20 side. Mokgathi has also been rewarded for his sterling performances this season for his club, BDF XI. He also did well playing as a top striker.

Although he is naturally a sweeper, Ohilwe was selected to play as a right back and he never disappointed. Nato played his favourable position as a holding midfielder and registered his first cap with full 90 minutes.
