New BISA boss calls for stronger ties

The new Botswana Integrated Sports Association (BISA) president, Joshua Gaotlhobogwe, has called for stronger ties with stakeholders after being elected over the weekend.

Gaotlhobogwe, formerly the associationís vice president, takes over from Steve Botlhasitsesaid the outgoing president had done a good job and that his intention was to continue the good legacy.  However, he said there were issues, which were lagging behind that he would want to make his priority. He told Mmegi Sport that there was need to work with other school sports organisations like Botswana Primary School Sports Association (BOPSSA), which is a feeder to BISA.

He said the Paralympics Association of Botswana (PASSOBO) should also be included in BISA programmes as schools have disabled athletes.
