Netball officials discuss pressing issues

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Netball Association (BONA) officials in the north met in Francistown on Saturday for a post -mortem of the just-ended first round of the season and to chart the way forward.

At the meeting, the regional chairperson, Olefile Letsholo, secretary, Dendo Tebogo Thabolo, treasurer, Catherine Manthe and public relations officer, Bobby Ntereke expressed concern over the lack of netball courts and umpires.

The shortage has caused the league to run behind schedule. Ntereke told the meeting at Marang Hotel that there are only two netball courts in Mahalapye and Palapye. Francistown has a court at TASC and Boasa.
