National netball team assistant coach, Regent Mosimanewapula has expressed his confidence in the side ahead of his team's participation in the Netball Diamond Challenge in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The team left yesterday for the competition that kicks off today. Hosts South Africa, Botswana, Malawi and Zambia are expected to battle it out in the five-day tournament. Mosimanewapula believes the team prepared sufficiently.
However, the local girls are likely to face a tough challenge from Africa's number one, Malawi and South Africa who are ranked second in Africa and sixth in the world. Mosimanewapula acknowledges that competition is going to be tough but said they take solace in that they are not meeting the two for the first time and know how to counteract them.

During preparations the team got assistance from New Zealand volunteer coach, Frances Granger who will be based in Botswana for the next three months working with Botswana coaches and teams. The team comprises both veterans and new comers.
