Gaborone United (GU) women's team is rubbing its hands in anticipation of lifting its maiden Gaborone Region Women's Football (GACFA) Division 1 title.

The Reds could be a point away from the league title depending on the outcome of a matter between the club and FC Ambassadors. The two teams were to play on April 28, but FC Ambassadors did not show up for the fixture and face the wrath of the league's disciplinary committee.

A verdict on the matter was expected last evening and the Reds in all likelihood, would get three points.

Don't let FMD outbreak drag on
