Netball captain reveals recipe for success

National netball team captain, Ntebo Mocuminyana has said it is through unity and determination that they managed to finish second in the Singapore Five Nations Cup. Botswana lost 55-53 to Papua New Guinea in a closely contested final.

Mocuminyana said they did not have enough time to prepare for the final but this motivated the players since they knew nothing much was expected from them. She thanked team officials saying they were more cooperative than before. She said that though they were underdogs,

they did not have problems in winning games.
She said they were unfortunate to lose in the finals because of fatigue. She was impressed with the high level of competition. Mocuminyana said they learnt vital lessons at the tournament and this should help Botswana netball.
