Naughty Boys Continue Fairytale Coke Run

Naughty Boys' impressive run in the Coca-Cola Cup continued on Saturday when the Tlokweng side stormed into the semi-finals of the lucrative tournament with a 2-1 win over Mogoditshane Fighters.

The be MOBILE league tail enders came to the match determined to prove their mettle with captain Botlhe 'Ringo' Rankogomo in scintillating form. After numerous attempts, the dreadlocked striker broke away from the Fighters rearguard in the 16th minute, dribbling past two defenders on the right to send in a low cross. Galefetoge 'Dilo Dilo' Kenaope was on hand to connect with the pass and fire past goalkeeper, Barolong 'Toldo' Lemmenyane. Rankgomo continued to terrorise the Fighters' defence with his skill and agility.

Kenaope should have grabbed a brace in the 26th minute but he shot tamely after a Lemmenyane spill. With Naughty Boys asking all the questions, Rankgomo breached the Fighters' defence once again in the 36th minute after benefiting from a Kgaodi Odirile pass on the right but his powerful shot was turned around for a corner by Lemmenyane.
