National Paralympic games suspended

Members of the Paralympic Association of Botswana (PASSOBO) have agreed to suspend the National Paralympic Games, commonly known as the December Games. The decision was taken during an ordinary meeting over the weekend at Oasis Motel. This was after PASSPBO treasurer Obakeng Busang revealed that the association has insufficient funds.
He announced that it has P25, 582 in its bank account. He said the association was given a P100,000 grant by the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) at the beginning of the year.
