Extension Gunners' coach, Daniel 'Chicco' Nare was scheduled to face the club's officials yesterday in a meeting meant to decide his stay at the Lobatse side.

"We have not reached a decision as to whether we need a coach or not because we are still to meet as the executive and the coach. We were supposed to meet with him on Monday where he was going to give us his technical report which contains reviews of last season and his recommendations," said Gunners' spokesman Cassim Dada. The rescheduled meeting was supposed to take place yesterday.

Ahead of the face-off, Nare slammed Dada for reportedly saying that they are looking for a coach. Nare still has a year to go before the end of his contract with Gunners. The coach said if the Gunners' management think that he has not done enough for the club, it is only fair for him to be informed officially rather than reading about it in the press. He said what makes the situation worse is that Dada has made several statements in the media that Gunners is looking for a coach but the other officials have remained mum.
