Gunners' spokesman, Nelson Dijeng, said over the weekend that the coach has said he will leave if they do not meet his demands.

Apparently, BMC has been courting Nare and made him a tempting offer. It is said that the coach told Gunners' officials about the offer last week. Dijeng said they will consider Nare's proposal and get back to him. He explained that during their meeting with Nare, they wanted to find out why the team was not doing well. He said the coach is going to assess the situation with other members of the technical bench and report back to the committee. Gunners have not been doing well despite a very good start to the be MOBILE Premier League. Since the second round of the competition started, Mapantsula have struggled and had they not collected points early in the campaign, they might have been fighting relegation. Some Gunners' supporters have been calling for Nare's head with indications that he might be headed for BMC. At one point he resigned but changed his mind after a new committee came to office. Nare has transformed Gunners from established relegation candidates and survival specialists to a top six side. Besides his Gunners' job, he is currently handling the Under-23 national team where he is doing well. The vocal former Under-23 international has coached Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Township Rollers. Nare could not be reached at the time of going to press.
