He was once a darling of Uniao Flamengo Santos. But now Sekhana 'Nandos' Koko finds himself facing the difficult task of helping Township Rollers to beat his childhood club in a Mascom Premier League game at the National Stadium on Sunday.

Koko moved to Rollers in a controversial transfer in January and his new club has struggled to get results since his arrival. Things were made worse by the fact that he has been on the sidelines after sustaining an injury in training. When contacted for comment yesterday, 'Nandos' said that he was raring to go but predicted a tough game against his old club. "I'm not sure whether I'm excited by the prospect of facing my former mates. It would be an emotional game for me because this is where I have spent most of my football career. As much as I feel for Santos, I've got a job to do at Rollers and prove a point," said Koko. He told Mmegi Sport that though life has been difficult for Mapalastina, the players would regroup and put a sterling performance against Santos.

Rollers are currently in seventh spot with 25 points from 19 games while Santos are 10th with 25 points. "Rollers' supporters should appreciate that a game of football is a win or lose situation. They must not lose hope and keep rallying behind us. We'll definitely try our best on Sunday," said the speedy attacking midfielder. Koko has scored seven goals this season but he is still to find the back of the net for Rollers.
