Mmegi: When did you start coaching?

Because of my passion for football, many believed that I have leadership qualities. I started my basic coaching course in 1993 under Ghanaian trainer Ben Koufie and I fully concentrated on coaching in 1995 after hanging my soccer boots up.

Mmegi: What made you to go into coaching?
Mpote: As a player I wanted to play overseas but when I did not happen, I told myself that I should concentrate in coaching and my dream has always been to be successful at club level and lead the national team.
