FRANCISTOWN: Orapa United coach, Mogomotsi Mpote has said he will consider the Zebras job if it is offered to him. Mpote has been heavily linked with the job after the Botswana Football Association (BFA) opted against renewing Adel Amrouche’s contract.

In fact, Mpote was snubbed in favour of Amrouche, despite guiding the national team to the 2019 COSAFA Cup final. “I do not want to comment much in relation to the national team job, but it will be an honour for me to serve my country.

Coaching the national team is something I will definitely consider but for now, I am very focused on my job at Orapa United,” he said. He added that taking over at the national team will depend on various factors.
