Mochudi Centre Chiefs' captain Mpoeleng Mpoeleng could soon leave the club after taking up a job with BCL Mine in Selebi Phikwe this week, while defence stalwart Michael Mogaladi also looks headed the same direction.

Mpoeleng, affectionately known as Stopper, started his new job as an artisan at the mine, on Tuesday. He has since admitted that playing for Chiefs while staying in Phikwe could prove to be a challenge."I have started my new job here, but I think I will return on Friday to play the game if the technical team needs me. But that will only be temporary because in the long term it may prove to be strenuous," Stopper told Mmegi Sport from his new base.

Chiefs' communications manager, Clifford Mogomotsi said the move will benefit the player's livelihood. He also confirmed that Mogaladi could soon move."I have heard that he (Mogaladi) may also be going. We have a couple of players currently who could take professional jobs like Wrist (Mompoloki Sephekolo), who is a graduate, and might be deployed elsewhere next year. We however, have Plan B for everything," he said.
