Motorsport president denies resignation reports

The Botswana Motorsport (BMS) president, Simon Modisaeman has denied reports that he has quit his post. Modisaeman and his committee have been under fire since they came into power in 2014.

The committee has been accused of abuse of office, failing to call for an Annual General Meeting (AGM), which was supposed to have been held in August last year. “I don’t know where the confusion came from. What I know is that am still holding my post,” Modisaeman told Mmegi Sport this week.

He further expressed lack of confidence in some of the committee members as he believes they have not been delivering as per the expectations.
